Pupil voice

One of the key messages about successful curriculum innovation has been how important it is to involve young people themselves in the process.

As part of the last SCE conference, schools were asked to find out what their pupils thoughts about learning and the curriculum. It is clearly key to ensure that, in addition to enabling pupils to find their voice to express their thoughts, feelings and ideas, the pupils are made to feel that their voice will be heard and their opinions valued.
