Welfare

Many organizations within the community work in partnership to ensure that the welfare and safeguarding of service children and young people is 'second to none'.

Included in this vast array of people is; Army Welfare Service; HIVE; Pastoral school based teams; police service; Pupil & Family Services; VTS; community youth development officers and Careers Advisers.

Welfare is at the heart of the Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship (PSHCE) programme, and Pastoral care is led by a senior member of staff.

There are programmes in place to support students outside school, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme; youth and community centres; youth forum and 'Speak Out' Conference.
