Outdoor learning

Outdoor learning complements indoor learning and is equally important. Being outdoors offers children opportunities for doing things in different ways and on different scales than when indoors. Effective planning of play and learning that does not necessarily distinguish between being indoors or outdoors, enables children to make the most of the resources and materials available to them and encourages them to think creatively and take the initiative with their learning.
